Mushroom Stroganoff

8 Dec

Tonight I wanted to cook a nice hearty meal for Ivan and I so I whipped this baby up:

mushroom 2

Ingredients:

Dairy Free Margarine

2 medium onions

3 cloves of garlic

500g mushrooms

1/2 cup white wine

1 tbsp of flour

1/2 cup soy milk

Ground Pepper

Directions:

Fry onions and garlic in margarine until soft.

mushroom 3

Add the mushrooms and cook through. Add wine and simmer until evaporated.

mushroom 6

Mix 3 tablespoons of water with flour to make a paste and then add the soy milk to the vegetables.

mushroom 5

Simmer for 15 minutes then add seasoning.

It was a complete success! It was nice and thick and completely vegan and Ivan approved.
